Sweepstakes Offers a Chance to Win a Weekend Getaway

FORT WORTH, Texas – If you're looking to reward yourself after a rough work week, American Airlines has the answer. American is giving travelers an opportunity to win a Last-Minute Package getaway to many different vacation destinations, a solution that is sure to take away those work week blues. Through March 20, 2007, customers who purchase a weekend package at www.aa.com/lastminute will automatically be entered into the sweepstakes. Additionally, customers can enter without purchase by registering at www.aa.com/getaway.

Customers are eligible for one sweepstake entry per person, and there is no purchase necessary to win. Prizes include:

  • One (1) Grand Prize winner will receive $2,500 toward an AA.com Last- Minute Package
  • One (1) First Prize winner will receive $1,500 toward an AA.com Last- Minute Package
  • One (1) Second Prize winner will receive $1,000 toward an AA.com Last- Minute Package

American Airlines Last-Minute Packages will feature bundled deals that include air, hotel, and car deals for “the current weekend and the one following” are ideal for the spontaneous traveler. Last-Minute Packages can be purchased from three hours to 14 days prior to departure. Packages generally require a Saturday night stay with the earliest departure of Thursday and latest return of Tuesday.
