American Airlines Announces The Million Mile Give Away
American Airlines Gives Away AAdvantage® Bonus Miles to Celebrate Launch of
the New AA.com Award Booking Tool
FORT WORTH , Texas – American Airlines today launches the Million Mile Give Away, offering travelers three chances to win a share of one million AAdvantage® bonus miles. Today through April 10, 2007, customers who register at www.aa.com/awardsweeps or refer a friend to the site via email will automatically be entered into the Million Mile Give Away sweepstakes.
Customers are eligible for up to three sweepstakes entries per person, and there is no purchase necessary to win. Customers may also view an online demo that highlights various features of the tool. One grand prize winner will receive 250,000 AAdvantage bonus miles and 30 additional winners will each receive 25,000 AAdvantage bonus miles. Winners will be chosen and notified by June 15, 2007.

The new, innovative and user-friendly AAdvantage booking tool on AA.com was developed with extensive customer input. It includes features that provide AAdvantage members with virtually all the information needed to redeem an AAdvantage award for travel on American Airlines, American Eagle, and the AmericanConnection® airlines, including a calendar that shows award availability over a four-week period.
To access the new AAdvantage booking and information tool, visitors to AA.com simply click on the “Redeem AAdvantage Miles” link on the AA.com home page. After entering the city and dates of travel, customers then have the option of searching for award seat availability over a four-week period with the new “Dates Flexible” option.
Color-coded, easy-to-use tabs allow customers to select the type of AAdvantage award they wish to redeem – ranging from economy class MileSAAver SM awards up to the first class AAnytime® awards – and easily see which dates are available for each of the award levels.
