American will fly the route twice weekly – on Wednesdays and Sundays – with Boeing 757 aircraft, configured with 22 seats in First Class and 166 seats in the Economy cabin.
“Earlier this year we made it clear that American Airlines intends to be the preferred airline in New York, and our new nonstop service to St. Kitts and Nevis is part of that commitment,” said Chuck Imhof, American's Vice President of Passenger Sales – Greater New York. “From New York, travelers on American can expect convenient flights to lots of destinations, competitive fares, and in the case of JFK, a sparkling new state-of-the-art terminal. We now look forward to showing residents of the Tri-State area what a wonderful addition St. Kitts and Nevis are to our schedule.”
“We are delighted that American Airlines will operate nonstop service from New York to St. Kitts and Nevis,” said Robert Kelly, Director-USA, St. Kitts Tourism Authority.
