FORT WORTH, Texas, Aug. 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- American Eagle
Airlines, the regional affiliate of American Airlines, will add nonstop
service between Miami International Airport (MIA) and Harbour Island (ELH);
Treasure Cay, Abaco (TCB); and Governors Harbour (GHB) in the Bahamas,
beginning Nov. 19.
American Eagle will operate the service with 66-seat ATR-72 aircraft.
"American Eagle is delighted to begin service from our Miami hub to these
three beautiful Bahamian destinations, serving them once again for the first
time since the early 1990s," said American Eagle President and CEO Peter
Bowler. "These new flights offer convenient connections for customers
throughout American's vast network, just in time to escape the cold winter
weather and head to the sunshine."

American Eagle also announced additional service from Miami to two
existing destinations in the Bahamas - adding a second daily nonstop to Marsh
Harbour (MHH) and resuming seasonal daily nonstop service to Exuma, Bahamas
(GGT).
Together, American and American Eagle serves 58 destinations with 260
flights from their Miami hub.
